is my dad making a mistake by going to a seminar?
He signed up for an investment seminar hosed by "investtools" (stock symbol IEDU)
The seminar is for 1 weekend and costs $2K. He can still get out of it for free. I am scared its a scam or not worthwhile (he makes 6 figures, so I guess his time is more important than most college kids, but just checking). Anyone know about this? |

Yes, tell him to save his $2k.
I don't know if that operation is legit or not, but I do know that there are good, honest operations out there that cost much, much, much less. (IMO) |

The only siminar that I heard is worth it is the one hosted by Donald Trump. Tell him to save his 2k and go see that one.

I would generally not recommend spending 2K to go to a seminar... did he already do their free 3-hr and $100 2 day ones?

[/ QUOTE ] I dont have an opinion as to whether its a good use of money, but its definitely not a scam. Its a public company, ticker IEDU. It has a very warm place in my heart, as I bought it as low as $1.25 per share and sold it over $9.00. |
