Foxwoods - Driving up Friday late afternoon
has anyone gone up Friday after work? I live in southwest fairfield county and was going to drive up around 7pm...but thought traffic was going to make the trip unbearable? a i better off waiting till saturday?

[/ QUOTE ] Where in Fairfield County? I drive through CT from Ridgefield frequently and New Haven is not pleasant ~8pm on a Friday night. Less so now than in the summer, though.

I will be going down there friday night. Driving from VT down I-91 sucks from Springfield to Hartford, but after that Rt. 2 Usually isn't too bad.

Wait times on Friday evening haven't been too bad but with the WPF in there it might be crowded. Anyway I might put in a few hours of 4/8 tomorrow after work. Gotta warm up for next week's Vega$ trip. What games do you guys play?

I will be there on Saturday early AM. Getting a seat at the 4/8 LHE table and not moving until about 8-9 Saturday night.

Dam is it me or does everybody on this site only go to Foxwoods or Vegas. Nobody goes to A.C.? Is it that bad? Either its very hard to win or it smells or something. I dont know.

i avoid driving to foxwoods friday evening 'cause its too damn stressful (im comming from stamford so i hit every last bit of fairfield county traffic)....if i was you i'd just wait till sat morning and leave @ like 830, there by 1030 and play all day....
by the way i was just there monday all day....usually i play 2-5NL, but i guess they raised the buy in for 1-2NL to $300 recently, best thing they couldve done....now you actually can start with enough chips to make plays with, soooo easy....
