I cant get the new flash player to work

I've downloaded the new flshplayer and installed it but it still says that I need the new flash player when I click on something that requires flash. Please help, thanks.

It says it's installed in the control panel if that helps.

go to www.softwarepatch.com and download from there and see if it works.

what browser are you using?

i know when i installed some players in the past, i did not have firefox at the time. and then when i did install firefox later, i had to reinstall the players so it would plugin to firefox too.
