Default Airports and Marijuana

So, my girlfriend is flying out to California with me to meet the family and have a rockin' good time for the holidays.

The thing is that while I don't really care for smokin', she would like to have some weed available in CA (as she is used to smoking regularly). I'm doubtful that I'll have any good connections out there so we were debating the prospects of carrying some on-person or in carry-on luggage.

Anyone have any insight as to the risks here?

I've often wondered about wrapping it an a water tight bag then dropping it in a full bottle of coke (or another dark liquid). Never tried it though, good luck man!

This seems so freakin stupid to me. How can you not find any connections in Cali? I don't even smoke yet I could find a connection within 5 minutes.

I know of people who have done it, but I'd say the risk/reward ratio is such that bringing weed with you through an airport is a really bad idea.

not a good idea for numerous reasons but most importantly you will be able to find weed in Cali as soon as you get off the plane so no need to risk going to jail.

yeah they sell it at the airports. also gass stations sell it. seriously wtf? do any of you ppl live in cali? only way you will find weed (if your a complete stranger, as it seemes in this case) is to ask every shady/stoner looking person for pot. Seemes unpractical. Also, dpending on where you are, as well as your age, it may afect difficulty.

If your going to college town like fresno, then yes it is easy. However if your going to frisco, what are you gunna do? Ask ppl, "hey man you got a J?"
