Best site for cheap airfares

Hey guys,

I'm flying from Bangkok to Japan in February, and the best fare I'm finding is $700 (?!). Do you guys know of any sites that have good cheap flight searches?

For some reason I thought this was some sick joke telling him to paddle a kayak to Tokyo. Apparently it's a real site.

FWIW, sites like this aren't always best. I just bought my tickets home for Christmas. I checked kayak.com, found the lowest fare. Then, I went to the Frontier website, and checked their fare for exactly the same flight. 10% less on the airline's site.

Kayak is great though, because it allows flexible searching that will let you find what the cheapest day/time/carrier is, but check that info against the carrier's price.

I used to think sidestep was the best. Thanks to this thread I checked out kayak. It's even better.
