This seems like such a simple thing (2 wallpapers), is there a free program out there?

If you turn on Active desktop you can add two pictures and then position them the way you want.

Not sure where you do this on XP as I'm on 2003 Server here at work and not sure if it is the same or not, but it is under the "Customize Desktop" button on the "Desktop" tab of the Display Properties dialog. Then choose the Web tab on that dialog, choose New, then point to your picture. Uncheck the "Lock desktop items" box until you get your pictures placed where you want them, then go back in and check it again.

FWIW, I don't have a "Web" tab in the "Customize Desktop..." dialogue. I'm on XP.

It's cool, though. I own UltraMon and hate Active Desktop.
