Default the superficial \"jump\"

okay, I love the web site "The Superficial," but what exactly is the "jump" the writer keeps talking about??

"More on Keanu after the jump."

I mean, every article has something mentioning this jump thing. What is it? It's driving me crazy!!!

The "Jump" is blogspeak for clicking on the "read more" link.

You are looking at the front page. There will be an arrow (or somesuch) that says "more" (or somesuch). That is the "jump." You are "jumping" to the article page, as opposed to the front page.

I always took it to meaning as "jumped the shark" where they changed to start their downfall, but I could be wrong. Good website though for anyone who hasn't seen it.

EDIT : And as you can see from above, I was wrong
