Two pair - Ugly Flop
Guy was 38/15/7 over 50 hands (pretty worthless stats). How do you play this turn considering half the deck is a scare card? His wtsd is 17ish, w$sd is 30ish. I was tight and hyper, playing at like 20/15/5 over 100 hands. Not sure if I want to call flop or push flop.....

Re: Two pair - Ugly Flop
I'd fold.
The only hands you beat are Ah9x and 68, 69 which are hardly hands they would hold here often enough. |

Re: Two pair - Ugly Flop
fold. if you both were really deep i call the turn and hope to fill up and bust him. he has barely any money left and you are most likely behind.

Re: Two pair - Ugly Flop
I actually folded the flop on this hand. Mostly because I couldn't figure out decent lines for the turn.
My scare cards are a 5 7 or T, also any heart. So 4x3+8=20 cards that are scare cards. I just made up a possible turn scenario. I would definitely push an A7o (ace of hearts here), or a set/straight/made flush. It just disappointed me that I can't do it with top two..... I feel so weak tight. |

Re: Two pair - Ugly Flop
I don't think the action has been that heavy so far. You have seriously underepresented your hand strength on the flop by only calling two bets. He was the preflop reraiser who raised a miniraise. I think he has narrowed his range for us quite a bit. The only two hands I see him reraising this way and being ahead of us is AhKh and maybe AhQh. As played I am reraising turn all in. I think he very likely has AAhx-QQhx His raise on the flop is probably only a protection of an overpair. You are ahead here quite a bit.
If you raise his flop bet, I think you define hand very well, but expect many agressive opponents to push the Ah. |
