A quick search didn't turn up anything of value, odd this hasn't been settled yet!

It's not any odder than Gold trying to screw the guy in the first place. Lawsuits can go on for years.

The way that I remember it was a known player on this site responded to a thread like this by saying (somethin like this anyway)

That the 2+2er was playing at the same table as Johnny Chan and he basically asked Chan if Gold paid him or not.

IIRC Chan responded with something like "I didn't know he owed me anything"

The 2+2er said Chan seemed mad that he was asked.

The way I took it from reading that was Chan answered in a somewhat vague way. Leading everyone to believe Gold didn't owe Chan anything.

But who knows

Maybe Chan just didn't want to let on that he got screwed again!

Someone posted a link a few months ago how Chan got swindled out of 100 - 150k.

I don't remember who posted all that. I only remember it was someone who's higly regarded around here. Like when I read it I didn't doubt any of it.

I'm not sure where it went though, I don't see a way to search for it on the federal court's website.
