Default Assuming that Neteller pays everybody off, ...

Assuming that Neteller pays all the US folks off, and assuming that they re-enter the US market after the legal paths have been cleared in a year or two, ....

I never did in the past but I prolly would if it was easy, it seemed that they had there hands tied with all the legal matters they were hit with.

For me personally, the complete lack of customer communications before and during the debacle will always be a complete deal-breaker.

Incidentally, I called up to close my Neteller account only 2 or 3 days before they froze the US accounts (I had previously cleared the cash out of my account, shortly after the UIGEA passed). Before closing it, I had a pleasant 10-15 minute conversation with the guy on the phone, where I repeatedly expressed my worries about the UIGEA, and wondered about whether Neteller would have to shut down or otherwise restrict US customers. The repeated answer that I was given was (paraphrasing), "no need to worry, everything is fine...".

This is obviously a company that falls beneath my personal minimum ethical standards, so my vote was a "no".

Anyway, I'm glad that everybody seems to be getting their money back!

Assuming everyone gets paid, yes.

But I would keep only small amounts in at any one time.

This should apply to everywhere now. The only place my bankroll is really safe is in my bank, or under my mattress.

Yea, I'd constantly be thinking about how much I'm willing to risk, but I really miss Neteller and would happily go back, even having about 20 buys locked up on there for months that I eventually assumed I'd never see again.
