Preseason quarterbacks??

Why do all the fans see a player in preseason (or a backup roll) do well and all of a sudden always ask for him to replace the starting quarterback? michael bishop over bledsoe, bobby hoying/aj feely/koy detmer over mcnabb, tony romo over bledsoe, im sure there are a ton of others I think bledsoe sucks but i think he should still ride out the season with the team. Does the media drive this?
