Default AQ hand 2nd hour of 109r

villain is Mr. Shhhhhh. i think someone said he was Al Ardebili?

anyway, here's the hand. i'm not too concerned about PF or flop-- i'd been raising small at the table frequently and was hoping to incite action, although a bigger flop bet may have made things easier on me. (actually, now that i've put it in the converter i realize it's less than 1/2 pot. which kind of sucks.)
still, the real question is, what kind of hands can we assign him and what should i do on the turn?

c/r all in or lead pretty big

He cant have AQ any [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and you have AxJ[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] crushed, he cant have AT any [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] either. AT no spade and JKss and some random suited spades are the only hands that will beat you there.

you definatly have to bet more on the flop though...

Given your description of the play, I think his range is pretty wide. You've been raising frequently, so he may well be floating with anything playable.

I think I probably check the turn for pot control. If he bets, I either call or raise, depending on size and timing. (Actually, with the A, Q and T of spades accounted for, I have a hard time putting him on a made flush. Check to control the pot size. If he bets, raise.)

My donkey two cents.

He could easily have a PP on the flop. He could have suited connectors in spades as well since you're PF raise was small. I check the turn.

bet t1100/call a push

push river

and while a bigger flop bet makes this easier, i think this is one of those cases where easier likely means less ev

If he's fairly aggro and prone to takeaways on turn...

Check-call, shove any river.

Push the turn or bet half pot to pot with the plan of putting the rest in. You have a draw to the 2nd nut flush and top pair 2nd kicker.

Seems unlikely he made a flush, since he can't have the ace, queen, or ten of spades.

A larger flop bet is more standard, but I don't mind the half pot bet on the flop.

What do you think he's calling/raising with?
