I think you need to call and re-evaluate on the river. His range for calling a pfr in the co and calling that flop w/ stacks that size is pretty wide. He knows when you check that card is prolly kinda bad for you and so the turn bet doesn't really change that range.
If he fires a hefty bet on a blank river I reluctantly fold. Half pot or less and I prolly look him up. If a A/J drops c/r. Also consider betting river sometimes if a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hits. Obv. you never get called by a worse hand but I'm pretty sure you can make few better ones fold and you prevent yourself from being bluffed. Paul |

I bet ~1/2 pot on turn and fold to a raise here.

I like the 1/2 PSB on the turn it helps set the price and almost indirectly controls the pot. For all you know, the TAG may think YOU hit the flush so he will be very hard pressed to raise. And if he does, you're probably toast.
A 1/2PSB will also get a call from something like JT or K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q as he must be equally concerned about the texture of the board - which could get you to showdown easier. By checking, hes doing the bet sizing and its hard to call the PSB have no idea whether its a flush (and you're drawing thin) or K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q semibluffing. You have to bet/fold that turn, or check/call the bet without a read.
At 25NL, I would sometimes just fold, but at 50NL too many people will bet this if checked to. |

If he's ahead of you on the turn, he probably would bet less, perhaps about 1/2 to 2/3 pot to avoid driving you out. He likely has AK or AQ, with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], or maybe JJ-TT, but I'd say you're ahead here still most of the time.
