Default general: 6-7 handed after a while, everyone is shortstacked

I've seen this come up in a few SNGs recently, and I wasn't sure how to play it. sometimes a lot of the field will still be around when blinds get to the 100/200 or even up to 150/300 level with most of the people having stacks of 1k-2k, including myself. This usually happens when everyone is playing tight. what's the best strategy here? If everyone is being tight, it seems to make sense to push a lot, but in early position i'm too afraid of running into a hand, and in late position there is usually someone who has pushed before me. so what am I to do? what hands would you push UTG or UTG+1? what about MP? and assuming it's folded around to me on the button, this is a situation where I push any two, right?

study what? I'm still kind of lost as to what I should be doing. just putting in a lot of stack sizes/hands/ranges and looking at all the outcomes?

Yup. And push/folding a lot.

SNGEGT/SNGWIZ FTW. They're free.
