What games have you played elsewhere? From personal experience, the limit holdem games up to 5/10 kill are good, and I hear 10/20 and 20/40 are good too. 1/2NL is good though the structure and rake kinda sucks. I've heard that 2/5NL is also good, and the higher NL games are sometimes great and sometimes tough. I've never seen a 1-5 stud player that was any good, I've never played stud higher.

Hello and welcome.

My experience has been with the LHE 2/4 and 4/8. They are both good, but 4/8 is better because it is easier to overcome the rake.

I have talked to several people and they all agree that the 5/10 is a great game, but you have to have the bankroll for the kill as it happens frequently.

See you at the 'Woods,
Mygtar

Everything below 75/150 limit or 10/25 NL is good on the weekends.

Just went for my first time last weekend.

I played a couple SnGs ($80+20 buy-in). Yeah, it's a lot of juice, but I bubbled one and cashed in the second. No cleverness needed -- just be patient and punish all those looooooose callers.

Comfy, if crowded, room.
