3-Streets... holla
Villain is 24/18, but has been pretty active lately. I r/r PF like 80% of the time here but decided to mix it up by just calling. We haven't had any major tangles yet.
I will often c/r against the PFR with my flush draws, especially the nut ones. I feel like I'd play a made flush the exact same way here. I have to correct myself on that, as I'll often check turn with a flush draw, so I dunno any more. I think that once I got to the river, a bluff is almost always the correct play. Who gives up on the turn though? I think that's where I messed up this hand. Thoughts??? Re: 3-Streets... holla
reraise pre and if you wanna get him off his hand on the flop you should probably make it a bit more. Turn and river and good cards for him if hes chasing something. I just dont like this, we get looked up by 2 pair, straights and flushes alot.

Re: 3-Streets... holla
i think this is a bad spot to mix it up pf. that being said i usually c/f flop or give up on turn, and even tho i hate how we got here i like the river bet.

Re: 3-Streets... holla
That's a pretty gross hand to CR bluff with imo. You'll have SOME sort of draw on that flop plenty often, no need to do it with total air. I think preflop is fine, sometimes. Anyways standard is to give it up on the turn, as he might have picked up combo draws and/or might put you on one. Given his turn flat call, I think he's combo-drawing pretty often here and so don't like the river bluff.

Re: 3-Streets... holla
I like it. The river bluff anyways. The turn depends on so many things that its really hard to say.
but given your turn bet amount, I like your river bluff. |

Re: 3-Streets... holla
i think if you are going to do this you need to be betting more everywhere, especially the flop. but, i think you're better off raising more on the flop and then giving up.

Re: 3-Streets... holla
Seems like if you are going to go through with a big bluff when you get to the turn, the most likely for you to represent is trips, so you should bet a little more.
edit: It'd be nice to have some outs against a made hand that could call of course. |
