Default WSOP Circuit: How do satellites work?

The WSOP Circuit Indiana page lists the $300 and higher super satellites, and also states that "satellites are running throughout the week". What is the buy-in and format of these standard satellites?

At Tunica they had $45, $65 and $120 9 man sats. They pay only 1st place, but you can chop. First for the $65's, what I played, was $500 tournament chip and $50 cash. I won one and chopped two. The two chops we had almost equal stacks and went 50/50.

You start the $65's with 800 chips, the blinds start at 25/25 and the levels are 15 minutes. They run pretty quickly. I would see people bust and get right back in line.

800 in chips at 25/25 with 15 minute levels? Good lord!

How do you chop a tournament chip, by the way? The winner still gets the chip but you split the fifty bucks? Two $250 tournament chips?

One I paid the guy $250 out of my pocket and took the chip, we split the $50, and the other time the women I chopped with gave me cash.

I used the one chip I won out right to enter the 2nd day $500 event. The other one that I had after the chop I sold for $490 to a guy waiting in line for the $1k event.

Yeah the structure leaves a lot to be desired. They become two card holdem after a while. The one I won I took out 2nd and 3rd in one hand. I had 1010 against JJ and 99 The flop was 10109. Made it easier since I didn't have to worry about chop. Instead I made a nice tip to the dealer, the $50 in cash.

At Tunica they were also running $500 1 table sats for a seat in the ME. I had to ask the TD's to find out about these
