Table Image Considerations

These two situations happened tonight and I was unsure what to do in either.

First:

After posting a big blind, it is now 9 hands later and you're utg with 77. The game has been playing loose-weak but there are a few players 2-3 that are discussing in detail strategy and you get the feel that they know what they're doing and are observant.

Second:
Similar situation except this time you're bb with QJs and 7 people limp in and it's your first hand.
