Default Spider 6-max session

I'm playing some 6-max, going to post any interesting hands.. If you dislike topics with lots of hands, move on. If you comment on a hand, reference the hand # for easy following.

===== HAND 1 =====
Villian is pretty laggy after two orbits (65/20/1.5). I haven't seen any noteworthy showdowns to get a good read. First time I've played with this guy.

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>.

Flop: (5 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (5.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

I intended to raise almost all rivers, but the A makes a worse hand calling less likely. He could also have donked Ax with a paired x. I think a turn raise is viable as well.. but thought he'd fire the third barrel very often from what i've seen.

===== HAND 2 =====
Villian is likely a TAG, tho I only have two orbits on him thus far.

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls.

Flop: (7 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks...

I go for the screwplay. (off-tempo turn check-raise)

===== Hand 3 =====
Villian is a TAG (diff than the previous hand's TAG). Very tight player so far.

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, CO calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls.

Flop: (5 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, CO calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks...

Another screwplay (I don't do these often btw)..

Hand 2 I like the screwplay.

Hand 3 I think you're getting raised often enough that I want to bet/trey it.

Hand 2.

Yep like it. Villain would have to of hit something here, my only concern is if TAG smells "monster hand" screwplay &amp; will b/f.

Hand 3.

I wouldn't screwplay, we may loose value here, I feel alot of the time villain may be drawing on this flop or has caught a pair &amp; will very often check the turn through. Or we miss our opportunity to bet/3bet if villain is holding a 9.

Sometimes, yeah.

If this guy is aggressive I think bet/3-betting is better or bet/calling the turn and checkraising the river some of the time.

The more aggressive he is the less I like checkraising the turn actually; bet/3-bet or bet/call, checkraise river.

Sometime I'm a fancy boy though.

BTW, its tough to work on non-stat reads and post all these. I can elaborate on my thoughts if need-be, but most of the actions speak for themselves if I don't provide thoughts..

===== Hand 4 =====
Villian is fairly loose and non-aggro PF, but has been a bit aggressive postflop after about three orbits... he's at about (40/4/2.3).

PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls.

Flop: (7 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises</font>, UTG folds, Hero calls.

I figure he could c/r pairs, so I figure I should at least call. He could fire again on the turn, but I'm not sure about the river.. Before looking further.. what should my plan be:
1. call to riv fold riv if he fires again?
2. calldown?
3. fold to the flop c/r?
4. fold turn if UI and he fires?

Turn: (5.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (7.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>...

Thoughts on flop and river?

Hand 3 I just keep betting.

If he called your flop bet he either has a hand he likes or just made one. He also might have a KJ or KT that will call a bet but not bet himself. wtf is he open limping?

Can you teach me how to flop sometime?

this is hand 2 i presume.

i don't have reliable aggression numbers yet. would JJ/TT peel that flop? would 99 call the turn? i guess the biggest concern is that he can check behind AJ or something right?
