Default PPA\'s vote list

Poker players alliance gives a nice list of how everyone voted on HR4411

list

So obviously anyone who vote Aye should be voted out and the people that voted nay are on our site right?

I am trying to figure out the last column though, the HR 5474 sponsors. What does that mean? Because many of the people who voted nay are 5474 sponsors. So being a cosponsor of that bill is okay?

HR 5474 is a bill to study the ways online gaming could be regulated. The PPA vote list says something about it at the very top.

ok so just because someone is cosponsoring it does not mean that they are anti-gambling then. Just wanted to make sure cause it looks like a few of my representatives voted nay but are sponsoring that bill

The Poker Players Alliance is currently supporting another bill in the House, HR 5474, which calls for a governmental study of regulation and licensing of the $12 billion dollar online gaming industry. This bill has only recently been introduced and further action on it is unknown at this time.

Those that support the "study bill" are our allies for the most part. It was put forth as an alternative piece of legislation in hopes of preventing what has happened.

Unfortunately, it has not (and likely will not) be acted upon this year.

Those are the ones you want to help out on election day. Unfortunately, here in Indy only one Congresswoman voted nay and she isn't in my district.
