Do you call this? 10/20NL
10/20NL, 6 handed, I'm UTG. Villain is very loose, he might have been calling preflop reraises 10 out of last ten times. I've got 981$, villain covers with 1264$.
I find A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and raise to 70$, 3 folds, SB calls, BB folds. Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] SB checks, I raise for 100$, SB reraises to 200$, I call. Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB shoves almost instantly for 944 more into a 556$ pot. It's about 700 for me to call. Haven't been playing very long with villain and guess this is the first allin of him I've seen. Might look like a flopped straight, but could be a nice (semi)bluff as well, as villain likely knows I am not having a straight or 3-of-a-kind here... What do you think? |

Re: Do you call this? 10/20NL
This is a point that annoys me alot so :
On the flop, you BET $100, not raise |

Re: Do you call this? 10/20NL
[ QUOTE ]
This is a point that annoys me alot so : On the flop, you BET $100, not raise [/ QUOTE ] English is obviously not OP's first language. He did pretty damn well, considering. The hand is clearly communicated and interesting enough, so let's talk about that; I like 3-betting AI on the flop as luckychewy suggested. As played I think I'd call the turn, for the obvious reasons (draws and worse nines, of which there should be plenty in Villain's preflop range). Folding preflop is also fine but not (IMO) mandatory. BTW, "alot" is improper, as a smug punk like you should know. --Nate |

Re: Do you call this? 10/20NL
Um terminology is pretty important. For instance, [ QUOTE ]
he might have been calling preflop re raises 10 out of last ten times. [/ QUOTE ] I suspect that OP might have meant just preflop raises. Maybe not, but it's pretty important to the hand imo. OP did this guy really call 10 preflop REraises in a row? |

Re: Do you call this? 10/20NL
fold pre flop.
as played I think turn is a fold. best case your against pair and open ended, but often your drawing to 2 outs |

Re: Do you call this? 10/20NL
With your stack and that description of the villain Id call here. Like you said he could have any two cards a TPTK against morons sounds pretty good to me.
