Default Help me figure out why FT is kicking my ass

I'm getting cold decked a lot (like constantly losing with 2-pair vs. sets against 40BB stacks where I can't get away) but mostly I'm not making very much money with big pairs. So I'll post a few over the next couple of days (some I lost, some I won), and maybe some others will help me out.

I just started at FT and although the games appear soft they are nowhere near as wild and crazy and loose as PokerRoom. Hope this bonus and RB makes up for it...

I'm usually at NL200, but FT only lets you deposit 2000 in a 7-day period with Neteller, so after a 3 buyin downswing I moved down until I can deposit more, only to encounter another 3 buyin downswing.

Here's the first one. Villain is 35/9/2 over 60 hands or so and I haven't seen anything weird yet.
Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $163
MrSmintsy: $136.45
CO: $69.10
Button: $65.05
SB: $102
BB: $114.95

Pre-flop: (6 players) MrSmintsy is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds, MrSmintsy raises to $3.5, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($7.5, 2 players)
BB checks, MrSmintsy bets $7, BB calls.

Turn: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($21.5, 2 players)
BB checks, MrSmintsy checks.

Bet this turn? Dunno why, but this card scared the hell out of me. Maybe it's because I always think JT is exactly the type of hand Villains like to call from the BB with.

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($21.5, 2 players)
BB bets $14, MrSmintsy calls.

River is standard after checking turn, and hell, now I beat JT. Anyone ever raise?

3 buyins isnt a downswing, its a matter of like 10 hands.

i think i bet the turn, draws are a big part of his range, and im not too worried about being c/r bluffed here.

Does this mean you fold to a turn C/R?

Ok, thanks.

For further clarification, you think a C/R bluff is unlikely because villains are weak?

I would think this would be a pretty great turn card to bluff with if I had something like A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Or do Villains tend to bluff C/R the flop with draws if they are going to bluff at all?

well i just dont see many 30/9 guys semi bluffing the turn. also, semi bluffing the turn here is only good if your opponent is capable of folding an overpair since thats a big part of a person who bets flop/turn here.

I like the way you played this.

I'd rather not bet the turn because our equity may not be that good even when he is drawing because of the possibility that he now has pair + draw.

After that turn card I just like to show this down cheaply, if possible.

3 buyins isn't really a downswing, also, just because you have 2k on a site doesn't mean you should play lower.

I think people are underestimating how often a c/r will be a bluff here on this card, it helps out a lot of draws and is somewhat scary.

I like the turn check and I like the river call, I may put in a min raise on the river however.

Email them and ask for higher deposit limits. I said I wanted to be able to put 4k in and they changed mine to 4k/6k/15k within about 10mins(only applies to neteller though).
