tadpole seeks advice from the sharks
Low stakes 6-handed table, most players apparently quite loose and passive except for 'hyper-aggro man' (HA!).
HA has been at the table for five or more revolutions pot-raising every hand but one pre-flop from every position regardless of table action. When called he continues to pot-bet every flop and turn, so far winning a couple of decent sized pots without a showdown, folding once facing heavy resistance. Prior to this hand HA and I are exactly equal in chips, 1.5 buyins each. Pre-flop: I limp in mid position with AKQQ following two limpers, expecting HA to pot it from the bb. HA bets pot as usual following another two limpers, I reraise the maximum, HA calls and all the limpers fold. Flop: Q A 8, three suits. Giving me trip Qs and a backdoor nut flush draw, HA bets pot, wannabe shark then... |

Re: tadpole seeks advice from the sharks
Thanks for your suggestion dogs.
The poll and question are related as I was musing about the villain's highly aggro play. I also noticed another thread on the topic and wondered if somehow pot raising every hand pre-flop could be considered reasonable strategy :-) |

Re: tadpole seeks advice from the sharks
Hand in question, you want to get the money all in. In this case, it would depend on stack sizes. Since you don't have the numbers posted, I'm not exactly sure. You might just call, you might min raise, or you might go all in.
