Default 42o

played minimal hands all summer...back in the game at nl 600

villain is on the tight side. I had yet to check raise the flop in a limped pot. The turn call was very fast.

well, you do beat all flush draws that dont have 6x or Jx

if hes tight he wont have 53, and 75 is pushing it.

i would probably just check fold this flop, although leading out for pot is acceptable, too.

i dont understand wanting to c/r this flop, its basically: "Im going to bluff at a nothing pot with a nothing hand simply because button seems tight". actually, thats solid logic, because yu're minraising, the pure bluff aspect only needs to work like half the time to show immediate profitability.

but yeha, i just avoid nothing pots with nothing hands and check it and probably fold it.

I like it more if the action goes, bet call bet call check bet call. But even then it's pushing it, I don't like this.

I'm sure he had a flushdraw this time since you posted the hand. But this seems very bad to me. The tiny flop CR being the most bizarre part.

yeah, i'm ch/foling flop a lot, but seems like it's not bad to do this once in a while against the right opponents (or maybe it's just a spew?)

anyway here's my logic--there's a decent chance i'm ahead on the flop, but i don't want to play a huge pot or call down 3 streets (thus the weird min c/r hoping to take it down). i could give up on the turn, but the j was a decent card not completing draws. on the river, i thin he checks a lot of hands back and don't think he's playing a big hand like that, which makes it a pretty standard call. and oh yeah, metagame.

There's nothing in the pot, why are you so attached to it?
