There are 13 BB in the pot. Button won't reraise based on how slow they have played it. Yes it is possible that MP1 has made there straight with 8T or made a second pair with J9, but given you have no read on the player I would guess that there is enuff chance of this being a paired jack that I'd probably call.

If button had us beat I think that we surely would have heard from him by now. The raise by MP1 behind two people is very convincing but I think that he has AJ often enough for us to make this call.

I called. I lost. No one has mentioned the hand MP had though [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]. I guess I'm just frustrated at making this call and losing again and again, although thats whats supposed to happen.

based on pf action, if i were villain i would play AA and JJ(less likely)the same way(maybe even QQ or KK, too). i think you ran into AA or 99, though.
