Default JJ gets C/R\'d on a dry board.

Sorry, no reads of this guy.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($25.50)
BB ($56.10)
Hero ($25)
MP ($19.05)
CO ($6.50)
Button ($21.40)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB calls $0.90, BB calls $0.75.

Flop: ($4) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3.5</font>, CO folds, SB folds, BB calls $3.50.

Turn: ($11) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $8</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $16</font>, Hero starts pondering.

I'm behind 98, two pair or a set. He was last to act preflop and his actions do not indicate an overpair.

Are the bet sizes ok overall? After the turn bet I've blown half my stack into the pot. Should I take this to showdown or is this a clear fold?

I push this, but only because 89 shouldn't have called the flop. Some players will make this move with 75 or 78 (double gutter on the flop), figuring they picked up a lot more outs (true).

But I'm a station and this is probably a fold. He could have 66, 44, TT, or 67, or maybe even 77.

Your bets look fine; on the flop you're charging drawing hands; yet you're not overdoing it so that hands like JT or AT will insta-fold. You need to bet the turn both for value and protection; a 2/3 pot bet certainly suffices.

I fold to the turn raise. Given the preflop and flop action, I agree that 75 and 78 are in his range, but I think he'd be better off (and more likely) check-raising all-in rather than minraise if he held either of those.

Given effective stacks, this is pretty much all-in already.

Looks like a clear fold. His min-check/raise is showing a ton of strength. Villain is telling you he wants to put all the chips in the middle. You have either 0 outs or 2 outs too often to call (or worse, push).
