Doyle is human just like the rest of us, which to me makes him more admerable than the larger than life persona that he has turned into in the past 4 years or so. He came out in a thread on RGP a few years ago saying he doesn't want to be a hero, and he isn't necessarilly the biggest winner. He just wants to be remembered as the guy who played in the biggest game in the world the longest, thats his true legacy and IMHO its very admerable. Doyle needs to learn and study just like the rest of us, if anything that photo should remind us all that its possible to reach his cash game levels over time.
In short... its an old photo, its well known, and its not surprising that he reads poker books.
