Default 1/2 quick start - is this enough ?

Hi,

i normally play 100NL 6 max, but due to a bonus requirement at interpoker i have to play 1/2 units.

I don't have the bankroll for 200NL, so i am thinking about playing a couple of hours of 1/2/FL short, in order to clear.

I only have GSIH, and he writes nothing about shorthanded play (havent read it), but in "further reading" he said to read Small Stakes Holdem for shorthanded play.

Do you think that reading the GSIH (Full table advice) and watching some Stoxpoker short videos will do the trick ??

I have some no exp. in limit, but some in NL.

Get the starting hand chart. Starting hands are different than NL. Somebody will have a link.

If you're new to the game, you're better off clearing it playing full ring.

Expect more aggression than you're used to.

More aggression in 1/2 LFR than 100NL 6max?

Think you're right about playing full table.

I got Ed Millers GSIH, and he talks about 1/2$ in his example hands, i think i have understood the basics in the chapter - plus there is a comprehensive preflop chart at the end of the table for full ring (beginning play).

Furthermore there is a video at Stoxpoker were he plays 4 tables 0,50/1FL, with a lot of commentary for the beginning player.

So being a winning 100NL 6max player (plus some MTT and SNG exp.) i should be well prepared after this beginning studies.

Hopefully i will be able to break even for 500 raked hands playing 4 full tables. Mayby next month i will give 6 max a shot, after getting "Holdem for advanced players".

Or maybe then i have the roll for 200NL

Thanks for the advice.
