Default eastern europeans and politics

in my travels, the moment someone tells you they are from an eastern ex-soviet block country, it is almost a complete guarantee that they will bring up politics within 3-4 minutes of your conversation. obviously, they hate george bush, but they also always some strange philosophy or political theory they want to tell you about.

Default Re: eastern europeans and politics

if i'd been stuck in a forced political regime for much of my formative years, I'd probably want to bend someone's ear about politics too.

Frankly, i prefer this to a total apathetic view of politics.
