I've been disconnected, lost the hand, would have called a river bet..

"Hey pal, tell me your first name, I'll send you the bet through a transfer." siince they don't have a minimum transfer, this is feasible even at small stakes. It keeps the games friendly and honest, and people have done the same for me in return.

On a site that doesn't always have a lot of players, you see a lot of the same faces. I'd rather send someone a BB than be looked at as an angle shooter/cheater.

i've been in similar situations, and i've contemplated doing that kind of stuff, but i tell myself, hey [censored] happens. can't help if something went wrong. if i did nothing wrong i won't be paying. part of me wants to but.. im not an angle-shooter. good of you to do it, though. guess im just a bit of a jerk.

I played an SNG on UB a couple yrs ago. We got to heads-up and I was down big in chips.

Opponent disconnects and doesn't come back for a few munutes. I kind of wait a couple moments but then decide to blind him away.
It takes me almost 5 minutes to get almost all his chips.
In that time I decide I'm going to split it with him 50/50 which I think is fair.

He comes back on the very last hand, goes all-in, loses, and cusses me out something crazy. Really vulgar.

I know he behaved much worse than I would have if I had lost the SNG that way. I know this because this had happened to me many times when I had a bad computer that always froze-up.

Oh well, there goes the transfer and my offer to split it with him.
