i like a checkraise all in on this flop.

free turn card is not a bad thing if they check around though.

I prefer a bigger flop bet against 2 players. Define your hand. It's not really a big deal though. I think the way you played it is fine & check-raising all in is fine.

I dont like making C bets on level 1. Especially into 2 opponents OOP with a relatively large pot. I check this hoping for a free card and fold to any bet. A small point, I like to open raise less with AK in level 1 (100) and 2 (170) to manage the pot size. Especially since I have a policy of not usually C betting.

Do you realize that we have 2 overs w/ the nut flush draw? We aren't likely to be worse than a coin flip. This is generally a great spot for a 3-bet semi bluff. The question is if you have enough FE at an $11. I couldn't answer that question as I don't play $11s. Also, I think raising less than 3BB with AK in the early levels at an $11 isnonsense. You will be called by weaker aces enough that if anything I would raise more than 3BB to build a pot.

PF raise is fine. C/R all-in on flop is much better. C-betting flop and get flat-called by UTG+2 leaves us in a [censored] position on the turn if we blank. And as said, a free turn card is not a bad thing at all.

After reading this I think I definitely like a check-raise better. Before I said I was fine with c-bet & then a 3 bet all in or just check-raising all in.

Firstly i would put in a larger raise pf, around 5xBB this is to make up for the fact that you are 1st to act and that you are oop for the hand.

Now the flop is a good one for you and your cb is likely to win the pot right there so i agree with that bet. Plus information can be gained about where you are in the hand.

Now the player next to you raises 340 more (there's your information - he thinks he has a good chance of winning the hand!) So what could he possible have? The cards that worry you are 44 22 and 88. It's unlikely that he has any of them as his pf play would be so poor if he did, but this is $11 so put 88 as possible. 99, TT, JJ are very likely (i would have imagined that he would re-raise w/ QQ/KK/AA. Or he could have something like KcQ (only if hes v. aggressive). I doubt he he has made a flush as most players would slow-play. Or he could be bluffing completely.

Now, all those hands fit the above play and against every one but the 88 you are a favourite. So unless you think he is a losse player pf and a tight player post-flop then pushing is the correct play in my opinion, and hopefully he'll make an incorrect fold w/ 99 TT or JJ.
