Default more baseball questions>???

where can i find good team defensive rankings???

i've heard people mention that the sox defense is overrated because errors are a bad way to measure defense???

Dial's player ratings are pretty good, but a lot of people are partial to the fielding bible, but it does not come out until after the season and is a book, so it sorta seeks to do more than Dial's ratings. Here is a preview of its 2006 rankings


You also asked about team stats. Here is a link to a +/- fielding system for each team. This system is based on Defensive Efficiency rating, DER, and is briefly explained here.

You can also find Baseball Prospectus' ranking of teams by DER here.
