Against a solid player, I would take the c/c,c/c,c/f line in this situation. Theres really nothing else you can do here vs this guy, so I liked the way you played this hand every street assuming you folded the river.

I think folding the turn should be considered.

this was my other thought. what can i beat after that turn card hits? and how live can i realistically be drawing

and if a brick hits instead of the J, does that push it to a call?

i dont know what villain 3-bets with preflop but if we were lucky enough to actually be ahead on the flop bc he only had AJ, after the turn we're only drawing to the other two kings and a gutshot instead of being open-ended. that, like, makes it close because we can't suck out on AQ or AA anymore, either.

What? The 3 remaining kings will give AJ a straight. And against AA/AQ we have 8 resp. 7 outs. Not including the split outs against AQ.

sorry, dude, it's late and i'm out of it. you're right about everything and i feel totally lame because i shouldn't post in high stakes when i'm this tired and possibly ever. lol i suck.

edit: i meant 2 remaining Qs (not Kings) which of course assumes he doesn't have AQ in which case the case Q is one of the split outs you name.
