Re: Defending the SB against LAG....
i'd much ratehr 3-bet here vs AOA. he generally gives them respect and if you're relatively unknown to him he's not going to get too cute.
given that, i would still fold PF. you dont need to defend your blinds like a tournament; playing ATo versus a tough LAG is probably going to be a losing proposition, especially if you are a little green with deep stacks. As played, I'd fold, I guess. AOA def does this [censored] to me when I look a little weak and the pot is big but generally for this dude big bets=big hand. |

Re: Defending the SB against LAG....
I say you're beat, but only because I know this player fairly well. He usually slows down when he doesn't have much a hand, so while he's LAG pre, I think he plays closer to the vest post.

He's not loose enough to play ATo.

Re: Defending the SB against LAG....
Fold preflop. If it was suited a call might have been ok.
If you really want to play the hand, reraise, but its better to do with other holdings than ATo. |

[ QUOTE ] Fold PF. [/ QUOTE ] never 3betting against this guy? [/ QUOTE ] I would like folding or 3 betting better as opposed to calling. Folding is the best option though. |
