I saw some dude wearing a 2005 WSOP OFFICIAL SPECTATOR shirt. Went up to him and talked to him, saying we should get a homegame together if he knew people that wanted to play, not mentioning stakes and assuming it would be pretty fun. He avoided the question and kind of snubbed me. WTF. If you are this dude, who goes to UCSD and is asian and has a WSOP shirt, be advised that you suck and are lame. Thank you.

poker is so mainstream now, an act like this would be rather awkward...you don't go up someone who's wearing an MJ jersey and invite him to a pick up bball game, do you?

If he was wearing a shirt that was like "Boston Intramural League" or something which is more comparable to a poker shirt than the ubiquitous MJ jersey that even non-fans wear, then it wouldn't be weird to go up to him and say, "Hey noticed your shirt, I play in an intramural/pick-up league, would you want to play?

Awkwardness is pretty routine so even if this were true it wouldn't mean anything.
