Minnesota/Dakotas Casino Holdem???
Anyone familiar with this casinos in this area. I'm heading south from Canada down to Fargo in late October. Maybe down to South Dakota. Maybe through the Twin Cities into Wisconson. Gonna splash the kids around in a waterpark or two. Can anyone point me towards some Holdem at a casino in these areas. I'd love a table close to a waterpark but we've got a week so I'll take what comes.
Please. |

Re: Minnesota/Dakotas Casino Holdem???
Minnesota has Canterbury Park. http://www.canterburypark.com/
I think some of the indian casinos have holdem now too, but I don't know which ones or how the action is, etc. No NL, MN has a 60 dollar bet limit. South Dakota has a few rooms. There are the following indian casinos with rooms: Dakota Sioux in Watertown http://www.dakotanationgaming.com Prarie Wind near Oglala http://www.prairiewindcasino.com Royal River in Flandrea http://www.royalrivercasino.com There is also Deadwood which has a few rooms, I think 5. North Dakota has some gaming as well, I'm not sure which casinos have poker though, you'll have to google it. The closest place I know of that has no limit action is Rosebud casino in Valentine, Nebraska. I know it used to get some big 5/10 and 10/25 PL and NL games, I don't know what the current status is, I'd call them if you are looking for something like that. Wisconsin also has NL action, but I don't know any specifics. |

www.casinocity.com has a casino directory. It's somewhat accurate as to what types of games they all have.
