Default brown fish greeting?

I've seen/heard this mentioned concerning greeting other 2+2ers when you run into each other at the online tables. what is this greeting, and why is it the "brown fish"?

It was brown trout, I think. But then it became 'Sup bro. I have no idea what the trout greeting is all about, even after searching. But I found "sup bro". Search for poster "sup bro" in the OOT forum for the funniest thread you'll ever see.

Brown Trout

Another phrase that started as a joke.
If you wish to ask if someone at your table is from 2+2, it is often asked "Does the brown trout sleep in the closet?" or similiar.

Ahhhh...the dreaded brown sewer trout. So did it ever get changed to "inside?" or still "sup bro"?

I've done that before and that is a good thread. Below is a link to the thread. From what I understand, this is where the "Sup Bro" greeting orginated. One of the answers for someone saying "sup bro" at the table was "All county in 1995". Or "All county in 1995 with 15 tackles for losses". String is funny reading.

Sup Bro thread

I just use the s'up bro or 'sup bro?' when I see a fellow 2+2er. Darth, I see that you're playing 0.10/0.20 on stars from some of your other posts. Any particular time of day/day of the week? You use 'Darth Poker' as your screen name? If so, I'll see you there.

I play under Athanasius1.
