When I was in high school, I had been seeing this girl for 9 months. Pretty serious stuff for that age. Anyways, we broke up for about five days (she dumped me) before getting back together (she said she made a mistake). The next weekend, I go over to her house at about 11-12 and go around to the walk-in basement so as not to wake her parents. I stop when I turn the corner and see her on top of some other dude.

I literally stopped dead in my tracks in stunned disbelief. After probably less than a minute, I went back to my car and just sat there trying to think. It hurt pretty bad. Later that night I confronted her, told her I had seen her, and that it was over. I was pretty calm and explained to her that I felt betrayed. I then told her not to call me or talk to me at school; if I wanted to talk to her, I would. She cried, I left. We didn't exchange words for over a year after that.

Kick her out of the apartment the next day, leave her stranded on the street with no place to live because she was largely financially dependant on me, and get over it in about 2 days.

Happened to me! The other guy "dumped" her so she had nowhere to live, and I told her parents what happened and they said not to come home for a month.
