Hypothetical here....

Unknown Raises to 4-5BB UTG, 3 Folds, Unknown2 Calls,
Folded Round to Hero In The Blinds with AK

How Short does Your stack need to be to push?

100 Big Blinds?
75BB?
60BB?
50?
40?
30?
Less?

with only 10 bbs or so the most id push with is 30 or 40.

I pushed with 125 BB's yesterday and got called by 8's (LOL) and lost the race [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

its all relative to how much is in the pot.

id almost never push with anything over 100 bbs or so unless the kid was the biggest maniac ever. but i will push ak v people who 3 bet me light. i also push aa/kk v these same players tho so they have to guess whther or not i have it.

With a raise and one or more callers I think FE combined with dead money combined with the fact that you aren't likely a big dog no matter what makes it +EV to push with up to 100BB.

Not saying its optimal, but if you don't want to play it OOP i think its ok.
