10/20

i get J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the BB.

a good, aggressive(15/9/1.9) MP open raises, folds to me, i 3 bet, he caps, i call.

Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

i bet, he raises, i call.

Turn: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

i bet, he raises, i 3bet, he caps, i call.

River: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

i check...

standard? sorry if it seems silly but my hiatus to learn NL has really made my limit rusty.

Could be I am missing something here. He was rammin and jammin all the way. Most likely he has AA, KK or QQ. Every time you bet he raises.. So, I see no reason not to bet the river. Looks to me like he raises, you raise, etc... he turns over AA,etc... and cries about you getting lucky.

NoPepperJack

No way he has the straight......

i think so. you went bonkers on the turn when the T hit. IMO he'd have to be a complete nut to raise if you lead the river, but i think he'll bet nearly 100% if you check to him. then you raise, and he says a bad word and calls.

yeah, the river lead into a turn capper is so strong i think it kills the action and he only calls. he expects me to check to him and of course we all know the "one more bet(especially HU)in a big pot" mantra...

I would lead and let him raise me so I can 3-bet.
