Default \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (9/1) (10-20 NL)

Tonight's show is the standard Friday night 10-20 NL game now that Legends is over. Last night's 10-20 had some rather loose action in it, more than usual 10-20 games.

Good news for commentator David Tuchman, as he mentioned in another thread, he's going to be providing colour commentary for the UK version of High Stakes Poker. Bart's also back in the studio and he'll surely bring up his role on last night's Ladies Night event. Supposedly, the LATB v Circuit matches were going to be made available to everyone, but I haven't seen them yet. As always, the play starts at 10pm ET over at www.liveatthebike.com

Did Brian Touchman take the job to be closer to his beloved Chelsea Team Or is it filmed here and they just needed an American voice to go along with a British guy? Anyways, good for Tuchman, hopefully it does very well. Also does he get to work with the chick who was groped by Prince Harry?

It's being filmed in the Fifty Casino in London on Sept. 12. I assume Tuch will mention who is the other member of the broadcast team. With Harrah's making an offer for London Clubs International (which Fifty is part of) would he refuse the job?

The fact that Bart is watching replays of last nights show (as we Know) is more related to the appeaerance of Maria - now Bart, if you do ever get her in to bed - for god's sake, the moment your'e done with that, challenge her to a 5 thousand dollar heads up match!!!!

In 2004, Lavinna Zhang (the first Bike Ladies Night qualifier winner) finished 2nd to Isabelle Mercier.

Are there any plans to increasing the quality of the video?
I'd love to see a 700kb/sec stream.

How about starting by fixing the choppy feed. The constant problems are really getting annoying. I hate having to wait to watch the archive in order to see the show without interuption.

Wonder why they would take Gary Jones over Jesse May. The events I've seen May do weren't that bad (although maybe a bit over the top at Showdown at the Sands).

Edit: Gary Jones has done live poker commentary as noted here in PokerStars' blog:

[ QUOTE ]
Gary also has a neat sideline in poker commentary, grabbing the mic for the British Poker Open, one of the first tournaments ever to be screened live in its entirety on British TV. It is therefore amusing to watch the reaction among the majority of the players here to see what appears to be a novice (Gary's "Choirboy" nickname comes from his adolescent looks) play with the obvious ability of a veteran.

BarTuch-
I noticed that all 3 of The Circuit guys had Joe Pelton in 5th or 6th as they did predictions for the WPT Final table. Please give them sh!t next time you talk to them for their poor guessing (Gavin was sobeer at this time).
