Default Multi-tabling on a laptop?

Question, I multi-table right now on a desktop computer with two dell 20" monitors. I am thinking of getting a laptop for various reasons (space, ability to travel, etc). Does anyone know if it is possible to reasonably two-table on FT or UB with a 17" widescreen with max resolution (I am thinking of buying a Dell Inspiron with the UltraSharp). I generally do not do more than two table so this would be enough.

At the other end of the spectrum has anyone tride the Dell 30" ultrasharp? Can you 6-table on that?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, overkill for both.

Thanks, though your short reply and use of the word overkill surprises me. Anyone with actual experience on a 17" lapttop widescreen?

Regarding who has one, I do, two...

It's major over kill. A 17" ultra wide laptop screen is 1900x1200 which can handle 12 Party tables with no overlap when reduced.

Even on any other site, with no table size reduction, and even if you go down to 1600x1200 or 1600x1050, you will still have more than enough room for two tables.

And regarding your question about 6 tabling on the Dell 30 inch, it's 2560x1600 pix.

So my original statement stands, no sweat overkill .

Whoa, 17 inch laptop screens support 1600X1200? I thought lcds had to be at least 20.1 to support that???

17's go up to I think 1900 x 1200 these days, and there's another resolution that's something like 1600 by 1080 or so. Check out www.discountlaptops.com; they have all the resolutions, if you check out all their different makes/models.
