Default Is rake beatable long-term online?

I'm currently playing NL25 on Party and am getting slightly murdered by rake. I'm still making a profit but I was wondering if there is a high chance of keeping this up before variance and rake kicks my ass?

I have no data at $25 NL recently, but I've played at least 30 or 40k hands there in my time and am up significantly.

If it scales down to $25 NL from $200 NL, and if there were no rake, the max possible win rate would be about +50%. In other words, it's possible to win something like 8 ptbb/100 at $200 NL 6 max with rake, without rake it'd be more like 12 ptbb/100.

Ah ok thanks.

I haven't played a lot of hands yet.. I'm waiting till I hit 10K to really see my stats but my stats so far are:

1783 hands

$Won - <font color="green">173.68</font>
BB/100 hands - <font color="green">19.43</font>

25NL is easily beatable at Party. However, if you're having doubts, there is a site you can play at that is rake free.

That looks like a brag to me... very good winrate (okay, maybe standard for 25NL)...don't expect to keep it up as you move up in stakes.

A little brag maybe, its just I was surprised that I did start with such a good run. I've ran 100$ up to 600$ at Party before after like 3-4k hands, but then had to withdraw and couldn't play much longer.

But now I'm back into it and trying to do it again. Also, I don't expect to keep that rate up by any chance. I'm shooting for 10BB/100 hands. Is that a reasonable goal?

No one beats the rake, so I feed the rake.

Some people beat the rake...therefore I feel sorry for it and feed it.
