Re: i take a get to showdown cheap line vs. an unknown
Against an unknown open limping the CO I certainly would want to get to showdown and would really HATE getting raised at any point. I think it definitly has merit.

Against most online players who love to bet when checked too, I think your turn+river line is perfectly fine against an unknown.

Re: i take a get to showdown cheap line vs. an unknown
If you check turn and he bets, c/c c/c is the only line unless a J hits. Only if you bet turn do you have to make a decision, Usually I would fold. But since I and everyone else hates that, c/c c/c or c/c b/c is what I like.

Re: i take a get to showdown cheap line vs. an unknown
The way OP played it loses the most when behind. The only possible benefit is getting a worse hand to bet that would have folded.
Your're allowing a King or Ace to take a free card to beat you if they want and your allowing gutshots, OESDs, and flush draws to take free cards if they want. I can't think of a worse way to play this hand outside of some whackado donkey move. Just bet and fold if raised. |
