Default Kind of a theoretical question..

but pretty relevant.

how many of you are prepared for the time when you will have to transition to a new game because the holdem games aren't good anymore? its completely inevitable.. and I know there are plenty of people who play mid-stakes right now that actually are winners and play just hold'em.

What is your plan of action? get a job? learn a new game? try to stick to hold'em and grind it out?

personally I play quite a few different games, but I feel a lot of players wont make the transition in time to really profit well, and some may not have the interest to?

ok i'll stop talking.. you guys tell me what you think, from both perspectives of those of you whom play new/different games and those of you who don't.

You think the WPT will soon only air Razz tournaments or something?

Poker is not my job, but please elaborate.... why will the hold'em games no longer be good? Everyone will reach expert level? Everyone will be playing no limit (assuming you are talking primarily about limit HE since that is the forum you are posting in)?

times change, interests change.. other games become more profitable.. the poker boom wont last forever.. and even then, there are other games that will pick up in popularity. etc.

This is the only thing I'm slightly concerned with. It's already started to affect me a little bit at my local B&M. I've already started learning NL because of it.
