5-10 Wynn deep river bluff
9-handed, most of the table is sitting on about $600-$1200 in chips and another thousand or more in Benjamins. I open AJ to $50 from middle position. I've been one of the more active raisers preflop, but havent shown down anything weak. LMP calls, BB calls.
Me: $4500ish CO: $3000ish BB: covers, probably $8k or more. LMP is decent, but seems weaker than most of the table, and probably fairly straightforward. BB is a strong player who recently won a big pot off of the old man on his right with AA vs. KK by reraising preflop and betting big all the way on a 755AT board. Flop comes K T 4 rainbow. BB checks, I lead $100 into ~$150 pot, CO raises to $250, BB gets a count on his stack and coldcalls. I call. Pot is about $800 now. Turn some low blank, completes the rainbow. BB checks (somewhat surprisingly), I check, CO checks. River J. BB bets $600, I think and raise to $1800. thoughts? |

Re: 5-10 Wynn deep river bluff
Looks ok. You're repping KJ or JT pretty good. I am a little scared CO may have what you're repping and he's not folding that on the river. With his flop c/r and turn check I would put him on KQ/AK/KJ type of hand.
I'm guessing BB has QJ here and is blocking the river. I like it, as CO most likely has a K and as long as it isn't KJ he has to fold. |

repping AQ [/ QUOTE ] well I hope the plan here isn't to fold out kings up, because I don't see them going anywhere |

Re: 5-10 Wynn deep river bluff
Don't really like it, because there's still a guy left to act after you which sucks because A) the bettor knows he's going up against 2 opponents which reduces the % of time he's bluffing here, and B) You've got a guy acting after you holding god knows what, he could very well have 2 pair himself now or completed a straight.
I'd find a better spot to bluff than this one, basically. |

Basically, since AQ and AJ are equivalent here depending on whether Q or J hits the board, I'm in a great spot to represent exactly what I have, a big paint gutshot. 2) BB is a good enough player to lay down 2 pair here, but I seriously doubt he's coldcalling a bet and raise with less than KT, maybe AK. So, his range is pretty strong, except maaaaybe QJ, but he laid down a weak draw in a big pot earlier, so I rather doubt that. When he checks the turn, I imagine his range is becoming a little weaker, perhaps bottom set or KT. There is zero chance that he has AQ here. 3) I think you've misread the action, there was no flop c/r. flop went BB-check, Me-bet, CO-raise, BB-call, Me-call. And I seriously doubt CO has AQ either. He may well have a QJ or KQ-ish hand that wanted to test my c-bet, but chilled out when BB coldcalled. Basically, CO is always folding here unless he did something loco/is a huge station. Neither of these seemed likely. |

Re: 5-10 Wynn deep river bluff
if you're going to bluff this river, raise more than that. as it is, he's probably not going to fold his two pair (or low set) which are his most likely holdings.
