Default gaining weight prop bet

My buddy and I had this discussion last night. He felt one way, I felt differently:

(Assume you're a person who weighs between 180-200 lbs. If you don't fit this criteria, the final goal weight would have to be adjusted.)

Could you gain enough weight over the next five years so that your total weight would be at least 500 pounds?

If you think you could, would you attempt it for a million bucks?

If you fail you get nothing.

Yeah, I could do it. No, I wouldn't do it.

I'm 6'2" 180. I absolutely believe I could do it, assuming the abuse I was doing to my body didn't cause my own death on the journey upwards. A million bucks is not close to enough money to attempt it. My health is the asset I value most highly, and to give that up for 5 years of getting massively fat, I'm guessing 2-3 years to take it off, and whatever long term health problems would come with the tremendous stresses I'd be putting on my system, I would need at least 8 figures of compensation. When considering the risk of not quite getting to 500 lbs and receiving nothing, $50 million would probably be my number.

You have to weigh at least 500 pounds sometime in the next 5 years.

It could almost certainly be done, assuming I didn't die in the process. But the downgrade in the quality of life would not be worth it. I'm not sure that any amount of money would.

If I can gain it as fast as I want I might do it for something like 50 mil. I'd have to look at the financial planning outlook for a variety of figures and scenarios to give an exact price.

I'd also be much, much more inclined to do this if I was single.
