Its a good cure if you want to give him money when hes ahead and have him fold when hes behind... that said, there isnt much other way to play it. Overbet looks a bit suspicious though.

Half pot sucks. We're getting almost 3:1 to call the all in, which coincidentally, is our odds for hitting overcards.

I think this line is fine, just remember to do it with big pairs sometimes, too.

As a shortstacker, I think this is a fine play against me. I will only call you if I have a pair, and otherwise you will take down a nice pot. Nice work.

This is very bad.
You have to bet less to give him a chance to bluff his stack off.
You have to put him in this unpleasant spot. You have to make him afraid that you are trying to take the pot with nothing for cheap prize. Betting big is probably worse than check-calling down.
Betting allin is retarted. Please think about it and stop feedign shortstacks. Please please please...

You have to put villain on a range here. If shortstacker is good. You have 0 folding equity imo. He wouldnt call with AK preflop.

Yeah this is right and its the reason why pushing is even more retarded but checkign behind becomes valueable option.
