My first NL100 question: defending blinds play
Played a bit of NL100 for basically the 1st time tonight and this hand gave me some trouble.
I don't have any reads as I just sat down but player seemed solid, was not a fish. Please comment on PF raise (good idea to do it? and was the amount ok?) And on the cont. bet and then fold to the raise? Re: My first NL100 question: defending blinds play
i assume a LHE convert?
I will do this with 99+ and AJs+/AQo+ but I'd usually like a read. as played you should mkae it $14 to go preflop. $10 is just a minraise and if I raised preflop I will ALWAYS call minraises like this as its just way too cheap to hit my hand. As played its fine to fold, maybe lead out $17 on flop tho rather than $14.5 folding preflop I dont like, and calling is tough given no reads, especially if he's good because you're probably gonna have to float a lot of the time. |
