Default Am I better then I think?

I've been playin winning poker for about 6 years now. I've alway played modest stakes like 10-20 .. 20-40 limit holdem. Then I became a big online tourny player playing SNG's from 50-200 and taking down the occaisional multi table. Well I started playin 5-10 NL and have dabbled in 10-20 and 70,000 hands later I am up $100k. I always thought of myself as good but never good enough to say put up $10k for WSOP. All my buddies think I was insane for not playing. Anyways... I just realized I'm "the guy" at the table that everyone fears. "the guy" you just don't know how he does it. It's weird.. cuz once ya got it.. you don't even know it. LONG LIVE POKER BABY!!!

You probably are better than you think, you just haven't stepped it up to play with the players who are better than the rest...I don't know, I'm just saying. Take a few shots and see how you do.

Oh yeah, please teach me, pointers, I'm a newb?

Oh yeah, most poker players tend to grossly underestimate their performances. They typically dismiss winning sessions as good luck, while beat themselves silly when they are losing. Of course, it is really the other way around. No doubt this is what has happened to you.

Seriously, practice good bankroll management and be willing to move down when you run bad -- which you inevitably will, no matter how good you are.
